Our Mission:
The objectives of the Quincy Kennel Club are:
QKC
promotes obedience training of all kinds of mix breeds, and pure bred dogs. All dogs should be
trained in basic obedience and general pet manners. A well trained dog
makes a better companion & neighbor.
To protect and advance the interests of all purebred dogs and to encourage sportsman like competition at dog shows and obedience trials.
To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows and obedience trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club.
QKC
offers beginning and advanced obedience,
Rally and Introduction to Agility classes as well as Conformation classes.
Our training center is located at 1600 N. 43rd, Quincy, K & L Arena,
new classes begin the 1st Tuesday of each month. All dogs are welcome to
train!!!!
Obedience Demonstrations
Our members enjoy showing off their talented companions to others. A well
trained dog is a joy to see, but many do not realize the time and effort that
has been invested in training of their dogs. Education is a primary goal of the Quincy Kennel Club and we welcome any opportunity to bring the wealth of knowledge our members possess to the public.
If you know of any organization that would be interested in a demonstration, please contact us at:
