Welcome to the Quincy Kennel Club

The Quincy Kennel Club was founded in 1960 in Quincy, Illinois. Our members are from all walks of life and include dog show exhibitors as well as concerned pet owners.  We love to share our passion for promoting responsible pet ownership, sportsmanship, and canine welfare.

Our Mission:

*    The QKC promotes obedience training for all dogs: mixed breeds and purebred dogs. All dogs should be trained in basic obedience and general pet manners. A well-trained dog makes a better companion and neighbor.

*     To protect and advance the interests of all pure-bred dogs and to encourage sportsman-like competition at dog shows and obedience trials.

*     To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, and obedience trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club.
